The first heart transplant in Italy was made by Professor Vincenzo Gallucci and his team on 14 November 1985 in Padova, and was one of the main events in the history of medicine in our country.

To celebrate this event, twenty years later, an emotional and touching short film has been produced which recalls the successes made in those years. The film communicates a sense of inexhaustible team work that involves the national network, the institutions, patients and industry associations. The testimonies of transplant physicians recall the daily commitment of all the staff and give hope for the future through new life projects.”
